Research. Designers use your data in combination with industry, trend and material research to begin teh design research phase.  Industrial design. Designers use the final design direction from the barinstorming sessions and details learned from the design research phase to define and refine the product. During this phase, industrial designers work closely with mechanical engineers, tooling engineers and manufacturing specialists to discuss your product. Engineering. A team of engineers creates CAD drawings and related mechanics that outline development. This team evaluates fit and funtion, specs on production, parts, costs, prototypes, etc. Then they deliver comprehensive mechanical solutions for all stages of development. With a strong focus on manufacturability, the Catalyst engineering team ensures that the final design can be manufactured. Afterall, a great product isn't so great if it cannot be manufactured!
