Jack Lawson
President, CEO, Co-Founder
Early in Jack’s career, he realized that there had to be a better way to design and manufacture products. He noticed that many companies had trouble developing new products quickly. And it wasn’t just that their product development processes didn’t work, it was that they also took too long to not work. Jack brought over 15 years of product development experience to Catalyst. Additionally, his leadership abilities, goal-oriented management style and consistent vision has allowed for the establishment and rapid growth of the Catalyst model, as has his broad background in product development, operations, executive management, and organizational change.
He provides Catalyst a valuable insight into how products are designed, developed, duplicated and deployed-always pushing the envelope to improve traditional design cycles and challenging the persons working within them. His vision, with Dennis Turner, for a completely new development process culminated in the Catalyst methodology. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
