Before contacting Catalyst, Axonn, was working with another design company that did not understand concept-through-completion product development.  After months of delays, Axonn was in jeopardy of missing a critical delivery with their largest customer. They were referred to Catalyst by one of their strategic alliances.

Following an initial round of Industrial Design to work out potential mechanical solutions, Catalyst completed the Mechanical Design such that the final product not only met critical size requirements to house internal components, but was rugged and waterproof.  Catalyst performed numerous sealing tests under pressure on SLA prototype units to validate final solution for enclosure design.  After application/environmental validations were satisfied on the prototypes, CNC models from ABS plastic were produced and tested as final verification before moving forward with rapid tooling.  Catalyst produced a set of prototype aluminum molds and produced plastic components that were used for alpha/beta testing and manufacturing de-bug.  The prototype molds were then used to bridge production for many components until final hard tooling could be brought on-line.
